March 1983 to present - Independent Sales Director Mary Kay CosmeticsResponsible for recruiting and training sales force in all areas of business ranging from booking, selling, recruiting, time management, money management, goal setting, merchandising, attitude, customer service, closing and advanced color application.  Mary Kay was named one of the top trained 25 sales forces in the United States 4 years ago by Marketing and Sales Magazine, as a Director that was my job. Mary Kay has been recognized as the number one selling skin care and color cosmetics in the United States for the last 9 years.  My duties as a Director also included holding and conducting weekly training meetings as a venue for promoting consultants and introducing guests to our product and opportunity. I have been a corporate trainer for 24 years and have earned the use of 11 Mary Kay career cars.

March 2003June 2003 -  Business consultant John Ritzenthaler Company.  I was hired to consult with this importer of kitchen, bath and tabletop textiles to help get a direct selling division up and running.  Initial work involved a business plan, line selection, merchandising presentation, training material, focus groups, data analysis and personnel building. I also designed the initial selling presentation to market these products to the public.

September 1982 to March 1991Owner and Founder of Lynn Snyder Exclusives; a sales representative company.  I represented 6 different lines of home textiles to the retail industry. Sales focused to upscale department stores, and exclusive boutiques in the Rocky Mountain region with emphasis in Denver and the Cherry Creek area.

June 1976 to September 1982 - District Sales Manager West Point PepperellI handled the whole state of New York and sold our products (Martex sheets, towels, comforters, kitchen textiles etc.) to Department stores, mass merchandisers, and mom and pop stores.  I implanted and started programs for new Vellux blanket placements and targeted as well as identified new market areas within my territory.  In September of 1979 I was transferred to Denver, Colorado to open a Branch office handling the Rocky Mountain region.  This business included institutional business as well as department stores, mass merchandisers and boutiques, with marketing emphasis in Denver and Cherry Creek.. I ran the office as well as supervised office personnel and a resource counting service.
