Lynn Snyder Goetz
Having grown up in the Real Estate business I don’t know why it took me 28 years of my professional life to decide to get into the business myself. Almost everyone in my family is a Realtor! My dad started in the business in the early 60’s, my sister has been a Realtor for almost 30 years, my sister in law is a Realtor and my brother is in commercial Real Estate.
I grew up in Richmond, Virginia; my dad had a General Brokerage Business with a partner and in the middle of my junior year in high school, he got the “listing” (I now know what a big deal it was} to do all the marketing and sales for a big golf resort in Tarpon Springs, Florida at a place called Innisbrook. I spent my weekends working in the sales office and guiding people through the models; I loved it!
I graduated college with a degree in Business and a minor in theatre from Florida State University. I didn’t want to be a starving actress so I took a position with a large Textile company head quartered in New York City! I was the branch sales manager for the whole state of New York a little over 3 years, until I was offered a position to open a district sales office in Denver. I sold home textiles to Department stores, institutional vendors, mass merchandisers and small specialty retailers I was doing that job for two years when my firm wanted to transfer me to Minneapolis. I was dating my husband at the time and didn’t want to move, so I stayed here in Denver and started my own business. I was in leadership in the direct selling industry for 25 years, had my own independent selling agency and did business consulting as well.

About 5 years ago a light bulb went off in my head and I thought “I think I’ll get my broker’s license, I think my skills will transfer nicely to Real Estate”. No one but me was shocked. Everyone told me they were surprised it took me so long! Attending Real Estate school, I had new found respect for my family’s business. I had no idea what it took to sell a home or help a buyer find one!
I joined Keller Williams because of the company philosophy; God, family, career. The education, camaraderie, uplifting environment complimented my prior business experience. I absolutely love this business of Real Estate and have been fortunate to be successful despite what some would say is a “soft market”. I am involved in my local office on the Agent Leadership Council; involved as a local Director of the South Metro Denver Realtor Association; involved on the state level with the Colorado Association of Realtors in convention planning; involved on the task force for the Denver Metro Realtor Rally and Drama director for my church. I have been married for 26 years and have two boys, Mark 16 and Mason 21.
I am passionate about putting people and property together and love the daily challenges it takes to get a deal from inception to closing. Whether you are buying, selling or investing I would love a chance to work with you.
